The Secondary School Redesign Project website at the Council for Chief State School Officers includes the Adolescent Literacy Toolkit. The toolkit was developed by the Council and its partners. The Region 4 Be the Change: Confronting the Achievement Gap After School Style Conference focused on creative strategies that elementary, middle, and high school programs can utilize to confront the achievement gap - after school style. What is afterschool style? Afterschool style is enriching, engaging, meaningful, and hands on. The conference featured workshops, a keynote speaker, after school youth performances, networking, inspiration, refreshments and lunch.

The 4-H Science Engineering and Technology (SET) Curriculum website includes various sets of curriculum available for free download. The Curriculum available covers a variety of subjects for multiple age groups. Resources include a comprehensive SET Activity Guide, film-making curriculum resources, and multiple animal science, water/ watershed education, and environmental education resources. Available Curriculum also includes a teen-focused Youth Engaging in Science (YES) resources.

The Center for Collaborative Solutions (CCS), publisher of "Developing Exemplary Practices in Nutrition, Physical Activity and Food Security in Afterschool Programs" has created 17 Healthy Behaviors Learning Centers at 10 after school programs across the state. These centers volunteer to coach other publicly funded after school programs to improve nutrition and physical activity practices. Senator Mark DeSaulnier (D-Concord) participated in the rollout of the learning centers and honored the role after school programs can play in addressing childhood obesity.

The Alliance for a Healthier Generation's empowerME Campaign website allows youth participants to sign in and receive information about events, contests, and advocacy tools motivate youth to be healthier and address the obesity epidemic. The website campaign is interactive and allows youth participants to connect remotely with other youth participants across America. Public Private Ventures recently released a series of reports based on an eight year research and evaluation study of the Communities Organizing Resources to Advance Learning (CORAL) Initiative funded by the James Irvine Foundation. The series contains a number of publications including What Matters, What Works: Advancing Achievement After-School, Supporting Success: Why and How to Improve Quality in After-School Programs, and an After School Toolkit: Tips Techniques and Templates for Improving Program Quality.

The SEDL National Partnership for Quality Afterschool Learning maintaings a training toolkit, curriculum databases, and additional resources for after school programs.
