The YMCA of the East Bay is a cause-driven nonprofit that joins people together by a shared commitment to improve our communities’ health and well-being, and give back and provide support to our neighbors. 

We are looking for an energetic, outgoing team player to lead our after school program team at Piedmont Ave Elementary school in Oakland. The Site Coordinator actively supervises both staff and students in a structured after school program. They will create daily program schedules and yearly calendar with community events and culminating activities, hire, train and supervise staff to ensure appropriate program activities that are culturally relevant, developmentally appropriate, aligned with students needs and interests, consistent with YMCA values, and focused on academic achievement. Administrative tasks include attendance, data entry, payroll, purchasing, as well as maintaining grant requirements and district guidelines. Responsible for attending staff development meetings, and work with school site teachers and principals to link the after school program activities to the school day.
