This November, voters across the nation will decide on over 500 elected positions. Our Federal Representatives are key to ensuring federal policy protects our most vulnerable children, youth and families. In California, voters will elect a new Governor and Superintendent of Public Instruction. Both positions will have a powerful role in the success or failure to increase access to quality out-of-school time programs across the state. With over 4,500 programs, the out-of-school time workforce in California is a powerful voting base. The California Afterschool Advocacy Alliance (CA3) recently completed a questionnaire for each candidate for State Superintendent of Public Instruction, and the California School Age Consortium has produced a comprehensive election guide to ROCK THE OST VOTE
