Michaiah Toney
Student Assistant
I am Michaiah (She/Her) the Student Assistant for Equity and Quality for the California AfterSchool Network (CAN). I joined the team in August 2023 and I am excited to be a part of a space that allows me the capacity to grow and learn.
I am currently pursuing my Associate’s Degree for Transfer (AS-T) In Business Administration at Folsom Lake College. Upon graduating in 2024, I will have three A.A. degrees: Business Administration, Economics, and Social and Behavioral Sciences. I will be transferring to a university of my choosing to obtain my BA in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing.
I am a firm believer that anyone can achieve great things in their life regardless of their background. All they need is love, encouragement, positivity, and the space to be their authentic selves. My favorite saying is “You are set up to win.”
In my free time, I like to do theater, write music, go on adventures, stay home with a good meal/snacks, my shih tzu puppy, and a good movie.
