Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing a class of at least twenty students with a safe, healthy, and supportive 
environment during the afterschool hours. 

Primary Roles and Responsibilities: 
Academic Support 
• Support student mastery of new skills through project-based learning 
• Promote and maintain a culture of safety and well-being with students 
• Ensure that activities are age-appropriate, engaging and exciting to students 
• Establish clear, consistent expectations for behavior and positive discipline 
• Ensure that every student feels known, accepted, valued and respected 
• Build and maintain a high level of trust through effective communication methods
