Think Together is looking for a new Afterschool Program Leader! 

Think Together partners with schools to change the odds for kids. They want all kids to get a great education that prepares them for college and career.

As a Program Leader, you will become the driving force in a child’s academic success, personal growth, and emotional development. Program Leaders assists in providing leadership and support in academic, cultural, and recreational enrichment. Program Leaders will provide a safe environment that educates, enlightens, and inspires youth in a school setting. Ensuring that Think Together students reach their potential takes a tremendous amount of hard work, flexibility, and commitment. Youth Leader receives ongoing training and coaching support to continuously strengthen their capacity to engage students in after school learning and enrichment. 

Duties Include: 

• Working directly with an assigned class of approximately 20-25 students. 
• Acting as a positive adult role model, coach, and mentor. 
• Maintain an open line of communication with parents and staff. 
• Collaborate with colleagues.

Requirements: 

• Experience working with young children and the ability to inspire and motivate. 
• Proof of graduation from High School. 
• NCLB Compliance (by passing Think Together’s Pre-Employment Test [district specific]). 
• Ability to speak and write standard English appropriately in a public school setting. 
• Must clear TB and Fingerprint check. 

Hours: 

• MUST be available 3, 4, or 5 days a week Monday – Friday (1:00 – 6:00 pm). 
• Minimum School Days and Early-Out days vary by school site. (19 hours per week).
