The Forum for Youth Investment in partnership with Learning Policy Institute and Turnaround for Children and in association with the SoLD Alliance has recently released a new playbook entitled Design Principles for Community-Based Settings: Putting the Science of Learning and Development Into Action.

This playbook points to principles to nurture innovations and effective school models that advance this change. It provides a framework to guide the transformation of k-12 settings, as it illustrates how practitioners can implement structures and practices that support learning and development through the framework.
