Description of Program :
WRAP/ICES provides a safe, after school program that students can come to to have fun as well as learn through homework help and enrichment activities. We offer an outstanding sports league, playing other middle schools in our district as well schools from ABC, Lynwood and Los Angeles. This is a program that was created many years ago and has continued to stay strong through each of the years that has followed.

What Outreach efforts/activities are being conducted with 8th and/or 9th grade students?:
We allow many former students return to do their service hours at Jefferson. They are a huge asset as they know the campus and can help maintain our program by doing the little things that make us successful.

Please describe your summer programming :
Most summer hours are done from 9-3 pm, Monday-Friday. Staff take students on a variety of field trips such as swimming at Belmont Olympic Pool, the movies and Knott’s Soak City. Students are also on campus participating in some of their favorite activities which include computer lab and indoor sports such as dodge ball.
