Children Now has released the 2014 California Children’s Report Card which includes a detailed analysis of the status of California students. The evaluation of kids’ performance is meant to encourage state leaders to make effective policy decisions that make children a priority in 2014. The report card examines 27 critical education, health, and child welfare topics, emphasizing that a variety of factors affect child performance. Additionally, the report includes in-depth assessments of progress as well as offering suggestions for moving forward.
