As the Administrative Coordinator for the California AfterSchool Network (CAN) since January 2025, Alida combines over ten years of administrative experience with a deep commitment to student programs, including after-school programming.

Her professional journey includes teaching in after-school settings, serving as an admin and project coordinator for the federal government, and working as a recruiter and career advisor in the private sector. Alida believes every child deserves a safe space to thrive.

In her personal life, she balances her time with her husband, four children, and two beloved dogs.
