The Wallace Foundation has created a Summer Learning Toolkit to assist with the planning and implementation of summer learning programs. The toolkit includes resources such as timelines, planning and management resources, and staffing tips to help start your program on the right foot. 

Along with the toolkit, RAND updated an earlier guide, Getting to Work on Summer Learning: Recommended Practices for Success. The document provides guidance for running summer learning programs, including recommendations for early planning, hiring and sticking to firm enrollment deadlines. With both tools in hand, planning a Summer Learning Program can be more effective and provide the support that students need.
