The California AfterSchool Network, in partnership with the California Department of Education’s Expanded Learning Division, recently co-hosted the virtual Fall 2024 Expanded Learning Opportunities Program Academy: Building Quality Expanded Learning Programs this past September 11, 12, 17 and 18, 2024. 

This multi-day virtual convening of workshops was designed to support our District, School, and Community Partner practitioners with the design and continued implementation of the CA Expanded Learning Opportunities Program. Participants had the opportunity to connect, learn, strengthen, and hear promising practices from our ELO-P community. Each day, we focused on one specific topic of ELO-P based on the field’s overall need to continue building Quality Expanded Learning Programs.
