Family Justice Center (FJ) Program
Deadline: December 31, 2020
The purpose of this program is to support emerging family justice centers (FJCs) across California. FJCs will provide services to victims of one or more of the following:
- Domestic violence
- Sexual assault
- Elder or dependent adult abuse
- Human trafficking
A total of $1.2 million is available to support awards of up to $400,000 through this program
Eligibility:
- Local Government
- State Government
- Non-Profits
Eligibility Notes:
- Eligible applicants are governmental or community-based victim service providers, excluding the currently operating family justice centers outlined on page 4 of the NOFA file..
- Applicants should have established, working relationships
with governmental and/or non-governmental community organizations
demonstrated through operational agreements. At a minimum, award
recipients must have operational agreements with the following
organizations within their service areas:
- Domestic Violence Agencies
- Sexual Assault Agencies
- Elder or Dependent Adult Abuse Agencies
- Human Trafficking Agencies
Only one application submitted by each applicant will be eligible to receive funding
