Engineering Everywhere, which provides afterschool curriculum for middle-school-aged youth, has two new units. “Growing Up” is an agricultural engineering unit, where students’ are challenged to design farms, while “Go Fish” focuses on biomechanical engineering through challenges to design prosthetic devices for animals. Each is designed to include six to ten different hands-on-activities and a documentary video to set the context for youth as they explore each new challenge.
