Funding Racial Justice: Budget Advocacy Training for Community Power 2021

The Advancement Project is accepting applications for Funding Racial Justice: Budget Advocacy Training for Community Power program! The 2021 Funding Racial Justice: Budget Advocacy Training for Community Power program is designed for California community members, organizers, and advocates to learn local budget advocacy and research skills necessary to win equitable investment in their communities.
This in-depth program includes a series of five 2.5-hour virtual sessions, running from August 31 through November 30, where cohort participants will:
- Learn how to center racial equity in budget advocacy campaigns
- Develop messaging tools necessary to support their regional budget and policy campaigns
- Deepen their local budget knowledge
- Receive one-on-one coaching to develop an individual budget campaign project
- And more
Participants will receive a stipend of up to $500 after completing the program.
