Leslye celebrates her CANniversary on February 22nd! She joined the CAN Team on the same day as Melissa Perez in 2021 and are considered the second set of “CAN Twins”. Leslye supports our Data & Research work by authoring the State of the State of Expanded Learning and working with developers on our Expanded Learning Database. She is passionate about having our field recognized and honored for all of the amazing work being done. She is also incredibly creative and artistic!

Jeff celebrates his CANniversary on February 28! Jeff has worked with CAN since its inception in 2006, first as program coordinator, then as program director, and then as interim executive director. Throughout his tenure with CAN, Jeff has had the opportunity to make many meaningful contributions to the Expanded Learning field. He has played an integral role in creating quality frameworks, including the California Afterschool Program Quality Self-Assessment Tool and the Quality Standards for Expanded Learning in California. As a seasoned Expanded Learning stakeholder Jeff brings an excellent understanding of the Expanded Learning landscape.
