InPlay is a national edtech non-profit that helps underserved children access critical after-school and summer programs so they don’t fall behind. They run online activity guides and integrated mobile communication and registration solutions to help cities and school districts keep kids learning outside of school. They currently serve 67 school districts including San Jose, Oakland, San Diego, and Kansas City, and are expanding.

They have created a remote work position for a leader who can advise and guide after-school and summer program providers so that together with InPlay, they can launch city-wide campaigns to give all youth fun and engaging learning experiences. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Passion for overcoming barriers to access for underserved youth and have worked or volunteered to help underserved children.
  • 2+ years training and managing expanded learning time program providers.
  • Understanding of program providers’ needs around funding, marketing, and registration.
  • Excellent organizational skills and an acute attention to detail.
  • Adaptable and able to balance multiple priorities in a changing environment.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills to analyze results and make recommendations.
  • Track record of successfully managing teams.
  • Must be willing to undergo fingerprinting and a background check to comply with state and federal laws that protect student data security and privacy.
