In this conversation, you will review CAN’s evolved way of thinking about the cycle of improvement and share your insight on the usefulness and fidelity of the process and the new guidebook. This is your moment to influence how this work is addressed in the future. Participants will engage in activities that help determine if the guidebook accurately captures how to go about the “process of getting better.”

In this CANdid Conversation, practitioners at all levels of the Expanded Learning field will review the sections of the Standards+ Expanded Learning Program Quality Assessment Tool and give their input on 3 core items – Does it measure what we need? Do I understand how to use it? Is it easy enough so that I will actually use it?

Join us in a CANdid conversation with our partners that explores the topic of equity as a means to heal, grow and create high-quality experiences for students, families and staff alike. We will talk about how to move our work through some personal mastery work that can inform our professional work – checking your assumptions, looking for patterns in your own behavior and responses and understanding that trust is built and once broken, has to be intentionally repaired, are some of the possible topics. We say possible because the participants that join us in the space will co-create the direction of the conversation.
