The Afterschool Alliance has collaborated with Voices for Healthy Kids and We-Collab to create a Health Equity Messaging Resource. This resource is to be used in conjunction with the Voices for Healthy Kids Health Equity for Public Policy Messaging Guide. The guide was created to assist advocates dedicated to advancing state level policy and supporting the National Afterschool Association’s Healthy Eating and Physical Activity (HEPA) Standards, to increase overall program quality.  It can also be used to gain a more comprehensive understanding of equity on the policy and programmatic level.
