COVID-19 has made returning to school in 2021 a challenge, and school health needs to be a national priority. To support this effort, Healthy School Campaigns released two resources supporting health and wellness in schools:

• RESTART & RECOVERY: Leveraging Federal COVID Relief Funding & Medicaid to Support Student & Staff Wellbeing & Connection
• Advancing Student and Staff Health with COVID Relief Funding

Another dire issue for schools is the infrastructure needs, and a recently held Change for Good Forums with Senator Dick Durbin agrees that it is also a national health priority.

This work will continue in the future to make the 2021-22 school year the healthiest it can be.
