Two New Members Appointed to the Advisory Committee on Before and After School Programs

On November 19, 2015 Governor Jerry Brown announced two new appointments to the Before and After School Advisory Committee. The purpose of the Advisory Committee on Before and After School Programs is to provide information and advice to the CDE and the State Board of Education regarding state and federal policy and funding issues affecting before and after school programs. The Governor appointed Eric Gurna, President and Chief Executive Officer at LA’s BEST as well as Luis Santana, Executive Director at Reading and Beyond. Access the press release announcing the appointments.
