2025 Site Coordinator Symposium Updates!

In case you missed it, we recently announced essential updates for the 8th annual 2025 Site Coordinator Symposium in Sacramento, CA!
The Site Coordinator Symposium,
presented by the California AfterSchool Network and supported by
the Site Coordinator Network, California Department of Education
Expanded Learning Division, and the System of Support for
Expanded Learning, is an annual event designed to empower
California Site Coordinators, Expanded Learning (EXL) educators,
Out of School Time (OST) professionals, and their partners. This
field-driven convening provides participants with valuable
opportunities for capacity-building, networking,
community-building, and plenty of fun while learning from peers,
colleagues, and experts across the field.
This year, the Symposium will feature sessions dedicated to the growth, development, and success of Site Coordinators and Direct-Service staff. Additionally, there will be sessions on how Leadership can create systems and supports to enhance their success and overall program quality. We hope you can join us!

The Site Coordinator Symposium
welcomes all participants and is dedicated to supporting Site
Coordinators and Direct-Service staff in Expanded Learning and
Out-of-School-Time (OST) programs. Registration tickets labeled
“(Site Coordinator)” are available at a discounted rate for
individuals serving in these roles.
- Early Registration: August 5, 2024, 10:00 AM - September 13, 2024
- General Registration: September 14, 2024 - December 6, 2024
- Late Registration: December 7, 2024 - January 3, 2025

The Site Coordinator Symposium is a hybrid convening with virtual and in-person participation opportunities. Below is a general schedule of the 2025 Site Coordinator Symposium.

Virtual Symposium
- Wednesday, February 5, 2025, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- The virtual event will be 100% online via our event app and the Zoom platform.
Hotel Accommodations
The 2025 Site Coordinator Symposium is
excited to partner with the Sheraton
Grand Hotel for lodging. We anticipate
the hotel room block will sell out and will share
information about nearby hotels as needed.

- Event Name: California AfterSchool Network (CAN) Symposium
- The special group rate is 229 USD per night, and they
are eligible for the following dates until sold out:
- Start Date: Monday, February 3, 2025
