Description: Understanding how Expanded Learning (EXL) fits into the broader education system is essential for maximizing impact and securing sustainable funding. This workshop provides a foundational overview of EXL, key education funding streams, and the role EXL plays in supporting student success. Participants will explore the connections between EXL programs and state and federal funding structures, gain insights into funding opportunities, and learn strategies to align EXL with broader educational goals. Whether new to EXL or looking to strengthen your knowledge, this session will equip you with the essential “nuts & bolts” to navigate the system effectively.
